Chelsea will join pianist and fellow EXTENSITY co-founder Francesca Khalifa for a stimulating duo-recital featuring West Coast premieres by up-and-coming composers Grace Coberly and Hannah Sobel, in partnership with Wildflower Composers. Chelsea will perform Coberly’s “Prima Respira” alongside works by George Walker, Regina Harris Baiocchi, Amanda Aldridge and Dorothy Rudd Moore as part of Chelsea’s American Mavericks project celebrating Black American Composers.

Illuminations will introduce EXTENSITY’s new EXT Pop Ups Series—short-form concerts spotlighting emerging composers—to a California audience. A festive reception and artist meet and greet will follow.
