Chelsea was the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of EXTENSITY, a NY-based concert series presenting cutting-edge programming by emerging and established artists working across a range of disciplines including music, fine art and multimedia. EXTENSITY aimed to foster connections between musical traditions, artistic practices and time periods with emphasis on underrepresented and new voices. EXTENSITY also created platforms for artists and audiences to interact and make new discoveries through receptions, artist talkbacks, lectures and special events.
EXTENSITY’s inaugural season, ANALOGS, (June 12 - July 31, 2021), brought together a renowned roster of musicians to explore unexpected intersections between Western classical music and overlooked and new music. EXTENSITY’s second season kicked off with WOMEN NOW (March 5-26, 2022); a month-long spotlight festival of recitals, interviews and panels celebrating the work of living, female composers.
